Jul 19, 2021 | Podcast Episode

‘ I  had to figure out a way to turn on my heart and mind, connect them together with my body, and once I did that, everything started going up from there ‘  – Michael Johnson

As a professional ballroom dance competitor, Michael Johnson had natural talent and a great work ethic but he found himself searching for something more, the ‘it’ factor  that would take him to the top. That secret ingredient was authenticity, that essence that shines through when your heart, mind and body meld into one. With that journey of self discovery, came the realization that he had the vision and the tools to help others, both within and outside the dance community, find and fulfil their life plans.

Masterful entrepreneur and motivational speaker, Jim Rohn, said ‘If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.

Michael Johnson, has mastered the art of designing his life plan, the plan that first took him to the  peak of his  career as a Ballroom Dance Professional Competitor, Adjudicator and Teacher and then led him to create Majic for Life, with programs to help others design and achieve their life and business goals.

Michael is an Author, Life Coach, Master NLP Practitioner, and a Business Mindset Consultant, who brings a unique and effective approach to taking your life to the next level using emotional education, intelligence, and mastery to deal with the challenges that life and business throw at you every day.

Michael has been dancing since he was five years old and has been teaching for over 27 years. He received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University where he also earned a scholarship to be part of their prestigious Ballroom Dance company.  During his Amateur competitive career, Michael won numerous events in Latin (cha cha, samba, rumba, paso doble and jive), Standard (waltz, tango,  Viennese waltz, foxtrot and quickstep), and Ten Dance (all 10 dances) and he has two US Swing titles. While  competing professionally, he also was one of the top teachers in the United States winning multiple top teacher awards.

In this conversation you will hear how a five year old boy accompanying his mother to her dance lessons, became a top dance competitor, discovered a passion for helping others succeed, and founded Majic for LIfe, to help others transcend their current experience and take their llves to a new level.
